Snow had just fallen, the sun was showing its face again, and we were at the top of Sandia Peak above the clouds and overlooking Albuquerque, New Mexico. I was walking a trail behind the trees paralleling the mountain crest when I spotted this break in the foliage. It was the perfect window of opportunity to capture the city and cloud covered mountains below with the sun peeking through snow-covered boughs.
